Anambra Commissioner of Police, CP Oji Ama
By PAMELA EBOH, Awka
The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Nnanna Oji Ama, has described Anambra State’s 35 years anniversary as a significant milestone in the history of the state, saying that it is celebrating 35 years of resilience, enterprise, progress, and the collective contributions of Ndi Anambra to the growth and development of the State.
The Commissioner in a goodwill message signed by the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Tochukwu Ikenga sent his felicitations to the Government and good people of Anambra State on the occasion of the 35th Anniversary of the creation of the State.
CP Ama hailed Ndi Anambra for their resilience, hard work, community spirit, and continued support for initiatives aimed at promoting peace, security, and sustainable development.
He particularly appreciated traditional rulers, religious leaders, community leaders, youths, women, civil society organisations, and other stakeholders for their partnership with the Nigeria Police Force in maintaining peace and security across the State.
While reassuring Ndi Anambra of the Command’s unwavering commitment to protecting lives and property, maintaining public safety, and providing professional, responsive, and people-oriented policing services, the CP urged residents to remain law-abiding, vigilant, and supportive of security agencies, stressing that sustainable peace and security remain a collective responsibility.
He said: “I am wishing Ndi Anambra a joyous 35th Anniversary celebration.
“I call on all citizens and residents to continue working together in unity and harmony towards a safer, more peaceful, and prosperous Anambra State.
“Happy 35th Anniversary, Anambra State.”
