A housewife, Roselyn Oche on Friday dragged her husband, Attah, before a Customary Court in Garki, accusing him of being a philanderer.

Oche, who resides in Garki, Abuja made the allegation in a divorce petition she filed against her husband in court.

“My husband has had extramarital affairs with at least ten women during the pendency of our marriage, and I cannot reasonably be expected to continue living with him,” she said

She told the court that as a result of the distraction, her husband neglects his responsibilities towards their children.

She also told the court that her husband was putting her through extreme emotional manipulation.

She begged the court to grant her prayers for divorce, grant her custody of the children and order her husband to provide the upkeep for the children.

In response, the respondent who is a civil servant denied all the allegations as averred by the petitioner.

The presiding judge, Mr Festus Enomhonse, adjourned the case until May 11, for hearing. (Text, excluding headline: NAN)
