A 37-year-old honey seller, Isah Usman of Angwan Biri Area of Minna, Niger State capital, has been arrested over alleged homosexuality with three teenagers between the ages of 13 and 15 years.

Police spokesperson in Niger State, Wasiu Abiodun, on Thursday said medical examination at the Police Clinic, Minna, confirmed the indecent act.

Abiodun said the suspect was fond of enticing the victims with honey and N500 each time he indulged in the act.

“Findings revealed that the suspect usually threatens them after the act and induces them with five hundred naira each and some honey. He was immediately arrested by police operatives attached to the Bosso Division.

“The victims were taken to Police Clinic Minna for medical examination, which confirmed the allegation and indicated penetration, while the suspect also confessed to the act. He has been transferred to SCID Minna for further investigation, after which he will be charged in court for prosecution,” he said.

Abiodun also said 37-year-old Zailani Suleiman was arrested in Anguwan-Hausawa, Tungan-Mallam Ward, Paikoro LGA, for allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl.

He said the suspect lured the young girl to an undisclosed location and drugged her before having canal knowledge of her. (Daily Trust)
