According to the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, the suspect was arrested on Friday during a routine patrol led by the Divisional Police Officer, CSP Solotan K. Owolabi.
He said the suspect was intercepted with a fresh human head, two human palms, and other human remains concealed in a nylon bag.
Preliminary investigations revealed that Ashafa exhumed the remains from a grave at Ido Itekun Village, Igbesa, for ritual purposes.
The implement allegedly used in the act was also recovered, while the scene was visited and documented.
