Gov.Abba Yusuf of Kano State has expressed sorrow over the death of Sa’id, elder brother of Sunusi Dawakin- Tofa, the governor’s Spokesperson.

This is contained in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor Mustapha Muhammad on Friday in Kano.

He died after a protracted illiness at the 44 Armed Forces Reference Hospital, Kaduna on Friday at the age of 69.

Sa’id was a former Director of Works at Kaduna Polytechnic and Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda.

Yusuf described his death as a great loss, not only to the immediate family but also to the Civil engineering profession, Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna and Kano states at large.

He noted that the deceased lived a life of service, dedication, and professionalism, particularly in his contributions to infrastructural development during his time at Kaduna Polytechnic.

The governor prayed to the Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus.

He prayed for strength and comfort for the entire family to bear the irreparable loss.

Yusuf urged the family to take solace in the fact that the deceased lived a fulfilled and impactful life.( NAN)
