Hon. Obinna Igboebisi, an African Democratic Congress (ADC) chieftain in Anambra State, has said that mothers are stabilizing forces in troubled homes while extending his greetings to all mothers on the occasion of the Mothering Sunday observed by the Anglican Church.

Igboebisi, who is a staunch Christian of the Anglican denomination, spoke to select journalists at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Obosi, during the commemoration of the Mothering Sunday.

“In homes where fathers are given to excesses, mothers are the stabilizing forces in those homes.

“I remember my mother holding forte in our family at a critical period, providing the shoulder on which we leaned.

“So on the occasion of the Mothering Sunday, I pray that God shall continue to bless all mothers, protect them, and answer their prayers,” Igboebisi said.

Hon. Igboebisi, who is an industrialist, once aspired to represent Idemili North Constituency in the Anambra State Assembly.

Now, he has sustained the ADC’s current online registration of members by donating money to ADC top members, who are overseeing the registration exercise and giving gifts of plastic buckets to newly registered members of the party.

The stupendously rich industrialist cum politician, whose towering frame makes us remember Rt. Hon. Nnamdi Azikiwe, shuttles between Europe and Africa for his business deals.

He has thrown his Hat into the ring regarding the 2027 general election as he is aspiring to represent Idemili North Constituency in the Anambra state Assembly.
