Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Delta State Governor, Ossai Ovie Success, has said he will take legal action against the organisers of Big Brother Naija Season 10 over the outcome of the show.
He claimed that Dede, who finished as the first runner-up, should have been declared the winner.
He made this known in a post shared on his X account on Monday, where he criticised the organisers for allegedly stopping another Delta contestant from winning for the second year in a row.
“Dede was r0bbèd by BBNaija organisers because Delta Boy Kellyrae won last year season, so they don’t want another Delta to win this year edition,” Ossai wrote.
He insisted that Dede gave a strong performance throughout the season and made her supporters proud.
“She deserves to win the Big Brother Naija show this season not giving her second position. She is suppose to be the winner not because she is a Delta girl but because she made everyone who watched the show proud,” he added.
Ossai also said he would be pursuing legal action on behalf of the finalist. “I will be sueing Big Brother Niaja onbehalf of Dede because the voting was r*gged. I am disappointed in #BBNS10 #bbnaijaseaon10 #BBNaija,” he said.
The political aide further explained how he planned to show his support for Dede despite his disappointment with the result.
“For now I will be consoling myself with Delta Chef Nnagbogu Ifeyinwa Reetaz Kitchen who will be cooking longest Bole at the Bole feast holding in Asaba October 26 while I work towards hosting Dede in Asaba,” he wrote.
The Big Brother Naija Season 10 finale took place on Sunday night, with 23-year-old fashion designer Imisioluwa Opeyemi Ayanwale, known as Imisi, emerging as the winner. Dede came second while Koyin finished as the second runner-up. (The Guardian, but headline rejigged)
