Idemili North LGA APGA Campaign Sub-Committee members

The APGA Idemili North LGA Campaign Council in Anambra State is poised to help the Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, to achieve his reelection bid.
To achieve that end, the Idemili North LGA APGA Campaign Sub-Committees, which are twelve in number, were inaugurated.
Among the sub-committees, which were Inaugurated are Strategy Committee, Grassroots Mobilization Committee, Media and Publicity Committee, Youth Mobilization Committee, Women Mobilization Committee, and others.
The inauguration ceremony, which took place at the Idemili North LGA Headquarters, Ogidi on September 27, 2025, were attended by APGA bigwigs in Anambra.
During the event, the APGA Idemili North Campaign Chairman, Chief Obi Idemobi, enjoined all the sub-committees’ chairmen to work collaboratively and harmoniously so as to propel Gov. Soludo to victory in the Nov.8, 2025 Anambra governorship election.
He further said that prizes would be given to wards that recorded electoral successes in the forthcoming Anambra governorship election.
“We should join hands and work together to achieve our goal.
“And if we deliver our respective wards, we will win the election, and we will receive prizes for doing that.
“So I am urging all sub-committee chairmen to hit the ground running and start convening meetings, as soon as possible,” Idemobi said.
More so, the Mayor of Idemili North LGA, Chief Stanley Nkwoka, said that APGA’s victory in the Nov. 8 Anambra Governorship election is a foregone conclusion.
He, however, advised members of the sub-committees who would pussyfoot in the execution of assignments given to them owing to pecuniary considerations to withdraw from the committees.
“This election is as good as won. We will win it.
“But I am advising those who are not ready to work to withdraw from the sub-committees,” Nkwoka said.
The Idemili North Mayor further posited that the APGA Idemili North Campaign Council would not reduce the tempo of its electioneering although Gov. Soludo’s lofty achievements had placed him in a pole position to win the upcoming Anambra governorship election by a landslide victory.
“Gov. Soludo’s works do not give other governorship candidates a chance in the forthcoming election.
“But no matter how beautiful our product is, we will still advertise it,” Nkwoka enthused.
And in his own remarks, Dr Law Mefor, the Anambra state commissioner for information, said that the November 8, 2025 Anambra governorship election would offer Idemili North LGA the ample opportunity to break the paradox and jinx of recording abysmally low votes during elections while it is credited with having a great number of registered voters.
“Idemili North LGA is punching far below its weight during elections considering its numerical strength.
“But this time around, the jinx will be broken. And it will not return anything less than one hundred thousand votes,” Mefor said.
Another stakeholder in Anambra politics, Dr. Tony Onyima, who is a one-time commissioner for information in Anambra state, gave the political prognostication that Idemili North LGA would decide the winner of the Anambra governorship slugfest, stating that all the other contending forces would balance and cancel one another out before the election.
“Idemili North LGA would decide this election after all the other forces had balanced one another.
“And the people of Idemili North LGA are going to break the paradox and jinx of having a great number of registered voters while recording low votes during elections,” Onyima said.
As the event wore on, the APGA Chairman in Anambra state, Barr. Ifeatu Obi-Okoye, urged all the members of the sub-committees to work harmoniously as a team, while emphasizing and clarifying that the party doesn’t make distinctions between joiners and founders.
“We must work together as a team to return Gov. Soludo to office come November 8, 2025.
“So everybody is equal in our party irrespective of when he or she joined the party,” he said.
The event climaxed with the administration of oath of office to the newly appointed chairmen of the APGA Idemili North Campaign Sub-Committees.
Other APGA chieftains in Anambra state, who attended the event were Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma, Anambra state commissioner for works; Chief Aisha Nnabuife, former chairman of Idemili North LGA; Hon. Tony “Oneweek” Muonagor, onetime house member in the Anambra state Assembly; Lady Phina Onwuachu, deputy mayor of Idemili North LGA; Chief Chuksbrown Igboanua, former TC Chairman of Idemili North LGA, and others.
