The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has reactivated its portal for uploading the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results for all Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) candidates across the country.
The examination body announced the reopening in a post on its official X account.
“Dear UTME candidates, this is to notify you that the upload of the 2025 WAEC result has been reactivated. Kindly visit any of our accredited facilities near you to access the service. Thank you,” JAMB stated.
The reactivation comes days after the board temporarily suspended the service. On August 14, JAMB shut down the portal to address technical issues that arose following the revision of results earlier released by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
The suspension, according to JAMB, was necessary to ensure that its central admissions database reflected only accurate and updated results. The shutdown had affected UTME candidates seeking admission for the 2024/2025 academic session, many of whom were unable to complete their admission process.
Candidates who had previously uploaded the first set of WAEC results released before the revision were required to wait until the portal was reopened in order to update their records.
With the reactivation of the portal, candidates can now proceed to JAMB-accredited centres nationwide to upload their results as part of the admission process. (BusinessDay)
