The Ogun Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Mr. Adewunmi Fasakin, has emphasized the importance of discipline and professional conduct among the rank and file of the corps.

The sector commander reiterated this while decorating three newly promoted officers as Deputy Corps Commanders in Abeokuta on Thursday.

Fasakin, while urging the promoted officers to remain steadfast, loyal, and committed to the road safety system, noted that advancement in the service required consistent dedication and readiness.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the newly promoted officers from the rank of Assistant Corps Commander were Nurat Awe, Samusideen Okusi, and Tola Ogundipe.

The sector commander encouraged all officers of the corps to be well-prepared for higher responsibilities and brace themselves for future assignments, promotions, and opportunities that may arise.

“The reward for hard work is more work. I urge you to remain focused and committed to your duties,” he said.

Fasakin appreciated the FRSC management for the promotion and urged the officers not to disappoint the corps for the confidence reposed in them.

He reiterated the corps’ commitment to reducing road traffic crashes to the barest minimum.

On behalf of her colleagues, one of the newly promoted officers, Awe, appreciated the corps for rewarding their performances with the promotion.

She pledged that they would be committed to the growth of the corps by upholding its values, rules, and regulations. (NAN)
