Who Is Eligible?
To qualify for NAPEP, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Be a Nigerian citizen by birth
Have a valid National Identification Number (NIN)
Be 18 years or older at the time of registration
Possess at least an O-Level certificate (WAEC/NECO/GCE)
Currently unemployed, underemployed, or running a micro-business
Must demonstrate interest in skills acquisition or enterprise development
How to Apply – Step by Step
Follow these steps carefully:
Step 1: Get Your NIN Ready
Make sure your National Identification Number (NIN) is active and verifiable via NIMC. This is needed to validate your identity.
Step 2: Visit the Official NAPEP Portal
Go to the official NAPEP application website (NAPEP PORTAL).
Step 3: Fill the Online Application Form
You’ll need to enter:
Personal details (Name, DOB, LGA, State of Origin)
NIN number
Education history (at least O-Level)
Your preferred training area or business sector
Step 4: Upload Required Documents
Scan and upload:
A valid ID (NIN slip, National ID card, or Voter’s card)
O-Level certificate
Passport photo
Step 5: Submit & Await Screening
You’ll receive a confirmation email or SMS after submission. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further screening or orientation.
Step 6: Start Your Training or Get Funded
If selected, you’ll begin training or receive startup grants/micro-credit support based on your application path.
