Governor Ademola Adeleke
The Special Adviser on Political Matters to Governor Ademola Adeleke, Alhaji Muniru Raji, has posited that Osogbo, the state capital of Osun State and the heart of Central Senatorial District is not ripe to produce a governor because of the disunity among its sons and daughters.
Raji who is a prominent son of Osogbo and Asiwaju Musulumi of Osogboland, advised that the town should work for unity before pursuing political ambitions, positing that the current agitation for the is ?self-serving, ill-advised and myopic.?
Speaking at a stakeholder?s engagement of Osogbo Affairs Forum, held at Osogbo City Hall, Olonkoro, Osogbo, in a viral video obtained by our correspondent on Monday, Raji emphasized the need for unity and collective effort to advance Osogbo?s political aspirations.
He suggested that 2030 would be a more realistic timeline for Osogbo to come together and speak with one voice hence the need for the people of the town particularly political gladiators to wait for next five years.
Raji warned that internal disunity among Osogbo?s political stakeholders could jeopardize the chances of an Osogbo indigene becoming the governor in the year 2030, saying that the party must jettison politics of acrimony in the quest to further build a united front and formidable frontier to achieve the goal.
