The leadership of the Obidient Movement has demanded the immediate and unconditional release of Hon. Justice Azuka, a member of its revolutionary group and a Chieftain of Labour Party (LP), who was abducted on Christmas eve in Onitsha Anambra State.

National Coordinator of the Obidient movement, Dr Tanko Yunusa, in a statement on Friday, indicated that it is no longer news of the kidnap of Hon. Justice Azuka, which has gone viral across media platforms.

The group said that Hon. Azuka was double-crossed at gunpoint and was quickly whisked away by gunmen at Ugwunaobamkpa Road inland town, Onitsha, on Christmas Eve on his way back home.

?We?re using this medium to call on relevant security agencies, the Nigeria Police Force, Anambra State Command, the Vigilante groups, and all stakeholders in the security sector in Anambra State to collaborate, sweeping through every hideout, den, suspected kidnapper hang-out, and every nook and cranny, facilitating the immediate and unconditional release of the Hon. Justice Azuka.

Meanwhile, the group had said that finding the abductors of Hon. Justice Azuka has become a litmus test for the Police Force to gain the confidence of the people in their operations and safeguard the lives and properties of Nigerians at large. (The Sun)
