A Federal High court sitting in Abakaliki, on Monday nullified all the congresses conducted by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ebonyi State.
The court presided over by Justice Hilary I. O. Oshomah ruled that the nullification affected the ward, local government and state congresses held by the party.
The ruling in Suit No. FHC/ AI/CS/183/2024 BETWEEN: Hon. Nnenna Lynda Udeh & 12 Ors.v. PDP & Anor. in a well- considered judgment, for being void,unconstitutional and of no effect whatsoever.
The court also restrained INEC, which was the 2nd Defendant in the Suit front recognising any of the officers purportedly elected from the void and nullified congresses for any purposes whatsoever.
