The roads remained empty with residents indoors on day two of the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB)?s sit at-home order in Anambra State.
The Awka capital territory where the order witnessed a partial compliance on Monday was a ghost territory on Tuesday
The residents attributed it to the confusion between the Nnamdi Kanu and Simon Ekpa?s directives for people to ignore the Tuesday?s order dished out through viral faceless video on Monday
Ekpa?s and Kanu?s camps cancelled the Tuesday?s sit-at-home in the zone while advising residents to go about their normal businesses.
But the fear of possible attack over such orders made workers, traders and others to stay at home
A politician, who does not want to be mentioned, told The Nation that he knew there would be enough compliance when orders and counter orders started flying on Monday.
A tricycle operator said: ?I did not go to work because of it. It is better to stay alive than to be a victim.? (The Nation)
