Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu
The Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU) has said that the late Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu who led the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, left indelible marks in the sand of time and a great vacuum that would be hard to fill.
SOKAPU in a letter to the Igbo People, Worldwide, through Okey Emuchay Secretary General Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo, commiserated with Ohanaeze Ndigbo over the death of Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu.
A letter signed by Engr. Tabara Samuel Kato, National President of SOKAPU and the entire people of Southern Kaduna, said, “The Southern Kaduna Peoples’ Union (SOKAPU) commiserates with the entire Igbo people Worldwide and particularly the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, over the demise of their President General Worldwide, Chief ( Dr). Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu.
“SOKAPU received with shock and sadness the death of Chief Iwuanyanwu.
The leadership of the Union described Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu as a Philanthropist, Soccer Enthusiast, Politician, Elder Statesman of high reputation and a renowned businessman; who served his people, the government and the people of Imo state, and Nigeria as a whole with commitment towards Nation building and Development.
”These he did with great passion and credibility until his demise Chief Iwuanyanwu has left indelible marks in the sand of time and a great vacuum hard to be filled. Surely, he will be missed but the great legacies worthy of emulation he left behind shall continue to remind us of his days with us.
“SOKAPU as a Union expresses it’s heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the Government and people of Imo state, and Ndi Igbo in the Diaspora. May God grant them all the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and may his soul rest in peace. Amen!” it added. (Vanguard)
