Collapsed East-West road in Ughelli North Local Government
The Uwheru Community bridge along the East-West road in Ughelli North Local Government Area ofDelta Statehas collapsed.
As of the time of filing this report, the cause of the collapse is still sketchy.
But it was gathered that passengers and transporters coming from Port Harcourt, Bayelsa and other Niger Delta States have been forced to completely abandoned a section of the road where the incident occurred using only one lane.
Following the incident, a cross-section of drivers have appealed to the President Bola Tinubu-led Federal Government to help in the repairing of the road and make it motorable for the masses in that axis. (New Telegraph)
