As Nigerians celebrate Eid El-Kabir, a chieftain of the AllProgressives Congress (APC), Hon. Obidike Chukwuebuka, has called on citizens to put aside their differences and unite against the country’s socio-economic challenges. In a statement, Obidike emphasized the importance of unity and collective action in overcoming the nation’s woes.

“Eid El-Kabir symbolizes sacrifice, love, and unity. Let us embrace these values and work together to address our common challenges,” Obidike said. “We must recognize that our diversity is a strength, not a weakness. By standing united, we can overcome any obstacle and build a brighter future for ourselves and generations to come.”

Obidike urged Nigerians to eschew divisive tendencies and focus on building a nation where everyone has access to quality education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. He also encouraged leaders to prioritize the welfare of citizens and work towards creating an enabling environment for growth and development.

“As we celebrate Eid El-Kabir, let us remember that our nation’s greatness depends on our ability to work together towards a common goal,” Obidike added. “Let us unite against poverty, inequality, and injustice. On Father’s Day, marked every June 16, Obdike has highlighted the profound impact fathers have on their children’s lives. According to Obidike, a father’s influence plays a significant role in shaping their children’s future, values, and character.

“Fathers are more than just providers; they are role models, mentors, and sources of inspiration,” Obidike emphasized. “Their involvement in their children’s lives is crucial for building self-esteem, confidence, and a sense of purpose.”

Obidike urged fathers to embrace their responsibility and foster a culture of responsible fatherhood. He encouraged them to be actively engaged in their children’s lives, sharing values, wisdom, and love.

“By doing so, we can raise a generation of confident, compassionate, and responsible individuals who will shape our nation’s future,

“Policymakers to recognize the importance of fatherhood and implement initiatives supporting fathers’ involvement in child-rearing. He also encouraged fathers to embrace their role, fostering a culture of responsible fatherhood,” Obidike said.

Obidike also called on families, communities, and society to support and celebrate fathers who exemplify responsible fatherhood. “Let us recognize the vital role fathers play and encourage them to continue being the rock of their families,” he added.
