Chairman, Ogun State Civil Service Commission, Tokunbo Odebunmi
The Ogun State Government has debunked an online recruitment advert attributed to the state Civil Service Commission.
A press release on Saturday, signed by the Permanent Secretary, Civil Service Commission, Mrs. Roseline Oluwatoyin Jacobs, on behalf of the Chairman of the Commission, Engr. Tokunbo Odebunmi, stated that the said online advert was reported to have called on prospective applicants to apply for various vacancies in the state’s Civil Service.
It emphasised that the publication was a mischief, perpetrated by some unscrupulous individuals, bent on maligning the image of the state government, stating that the Commission would not recruit via online but through its headquarters at Block A, New Secretariat, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
The release enjoined the general public to be wary of such propaganda and disregard the online publication in its entirety, in order not to fall victim.
