Kaduna refinery resumes production

Kaduna Refinery and Petrochemicals Company (KRPC) has resumed production after months of inactivity.

Workers who spoke to our reporter on phone confirmed that start-up operation of the fuel plant was successfully conducted on Friday night.

“We have resumed production on Friday night. By Monday, lifting of product especially PMS will commence,” a senior staff member said.

The Manager, Public Affairs Department of the KRPC, Mallam Abdullahi Idris, when contacted on phone also confirmed the start-up operation.

He, however, declined to make further comments, saying the appropriate authority of the NNPC will give further details about the development.
