Super Eagles: Finidi not willing to work with Amokachi, Amuneke

Newly appointed Super Eagles head coach, Finidi George

Super Eagles interim coach, Finidi George has provided insights into why his team lost to the Eagles of Mali in an international friendly match held in Marrakech, Morocco.

Newly appointed Super Eagles head coach, Finidi George has no plan to work with his former teammates, Daniel Amokachi and Emmanuel Amuneke.

Finidi is yet to pick his backroom staff following his appointment this week.

Amokachi and Amuneke are reportedly in the running for the assistant coach position.

The duo also applied for the Super Eagles head coach job.

According to reports, Finidi wants to pick his own assistants rather than work with the two.

The NFF has previously announced that the new Super Eagles coach will be given a free hand to pick his assistants. (Saturday Vanguard)
