APC chieftain faults Kwankwaso’s son nomination as commissioner

Kano commissioner-nominee Mustapha Kwankwaso

The Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Yusuf, has nominated Mustapha Kwankwaso, son of Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso as commissioner.

Kwankwaso, a former governor of Kano, was the presidential candidate of New Nigeria Peoples Party in the 2023 general election.

The governor has also nominated Adamu Kibiya, a former Commissioner for Land, who was suspended for making derogatory statements on tribunal judges.

The other commissiomers-nominee are Usman Aliyu and Abduljabbar Garko.

The names of the four nominees have been forwarded to the Kano State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.(The PUNCH)
