Late Ex- Kwara Deputy Governor Peter Kisira
A former Deputy Governor of Kwara State during the administration of Abdulfatah Ahmed, Mr. Peter Kisira, is dead.
Kisira, who was the Deputy Governor from 2011 to 2019, died in the early hours of Saturday at the age of 74.
Reacting, Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, expressed sadness over Kisira’s death.
A statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, said the Governor sent his heartfelt condolences to the people of Baruten and the family of Elder Kisira, whom he urged “to take solace in his fine legacies as a public servant and a bureaucrat who rose to the rank of Permanent Secretary in the state’s civil service”.
The Governor said the former Deputy Governor would be remembered for his life of commendable public service and dedication to good causes.
