Director, Kwara State Fire Service, Prince John Falade, has emphasised the importance of safety to ensure the protection of lives and property.
Falade, speaking Tuesday in continuation of their ongoing sensitization programmme held at Oja-Oba Market, Ilorin, charged the people to carefully heed the shared insights.
The Director encouraged the vendors to implement the knowledge gained during the lecture diligently for the benefits of all.
The media team, led by Hassan Hakeem Adekunle, delivered extensive lecture on basic firefighting techniques.
They also demonstrated the smothering method and various preventive measures to the people.
Responding the market heads expressed their appreciation to the state government and the State Fire Service for their dedicated and efforts in ensuring safety within the community.
