The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has lambasted a group known as BRAC that claimed to be speaking for the people of Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Cross River states from the old Eastern region as modern saboteurs of Biafra actualization.

The group described the sponsored group by the Fulani caliphate in defense and praising of General Yakubu Gowon, former Nigeria military Head of State as the greatest enemies of their people.

The leader of MASSOB Uchenna Madu in a statement alleged that General Yakubu Gowonmurdered thousands of their fathers and mothers when he waged a genocidal war against the people of Biafra.

He stated that when Gowonabolished the four Regions that Nigeria had after independence and created states, BRAC thought it was for their benefit but “they are yet to understand that it was for the benefit of Gowon and his fellow Northern cohorts”.

“The self acclaimed BRAC people never bothered to read the military Decrees Gowon used in creating states. They should realise that Gowon not only gave the Fulani caliphate half of the states he created and also abolished resource control and placed all resources in the hands of the Fulani controlled Federal government of Nigeria.

“Ignorance is a terrible disease for the claimedBRAC people.

“The General Yakubu Gowon, the sponsored BRAC wants to protect and praised is no longer comfortable and romancing with Hausa and Fulani that used him to betray his Middle Beltanbrothers during his genocidal war against the people of Biafra.

“MASSOB described this confused BRAC as the most modern saboteurs of Biafra actualization who sold their conscience to the fulanis without considering the future of their children.

“Are the so calledsupposed BRAC people better andcomfortable more than the people inAnambra, Imo, Abia and Ebonyi states in today’s Nigeria” Madu stated. (Daily Sun)
