Late Ex-International Goalkeeper Bidemi Aluko
Former Nigerian international, Bidemi Grace Ebunoluwa Aluko-Olaseni, is dead.
The one-time Falconets goalkeeper died on Friday, March 1st, 2024, at Ijurin Ekiti, Ijero Local Government of Ekiti State after bravely battling cancer for eight years.
News of Bidemis death was broken the next day by her brother, Aanu Albert Aluko, in a statement he issued behalf of the family.
Aanu Albert Aluko said in the statement: Bidemi peacefully departed after 8 years valiant battle with Cancer.
Bidemi, in her lifetime, graced the field as an accomplished goalkeeper as a Former Falconet Goalkeeper, former Rivers Angel GoalKeeper, Former Ekiti Babes Goalkeeper, Former Sunshine Queens Goalkeeper, Former Olgar Queens Goalkeeper, FCT Babes Alumna and Former Makbet Queens Goalkeeper.

Aanu disclosed that burial arrangements would be announced later by the family.
Bidemi, who hailed from Ekiti State in South-West Nigeria, is survived by her husband, siblings, and aged parents.
