Inside the Supreme Court
The Supreme Court on Thursday upheld the election of three state governors by dismissing the petitions against their election
Among them is Sim Fubara of Rivers, in which case Justice Ibrahim Saulawa dismissed the appeal by the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its governorship candidate, Tonye Cole.
The other is Ahmed Aliyu as Sokoto. Delivering judgment, Justice Tijani Abubakar dismissed the appeal by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its governorship candidate, Saidu Umar.
The third is Agbu Kefas of Taraba. Delivering judgment, Justice Lawal Garba dismissed the appeal by the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) and its governorship candidate, Yahaya Sani, for filing incomplete record of appeal.
