Welfare Boards, appoints Coordinators and Deputy Coordinators on Religious Matters

Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved members of Boards of Delta State Christian and Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards, while also appointing Coordinators and Deputy Coordinators on Religious Matters.

A Government Special Announcement this Saturday, December 16, 2023, identified the appointees as follows:

CHRISTIAN PILGRIMS WELFARE BOARD

1.Apostle Sylvanus Okorote – Chairman

2.Rev. Father Christopher Ekabo – Secretary

3.Arcbishop Godday Iboyi – Member

4.Rev. Dr. JustinOkoroji – Member

5.Rev. Monday Madukwe – Member

6.Ven. Robert O. Oziwele – Member

7.Dr. Mrs. Ngozi Patricia Buzugbe – Member.

MUSLIM PILGRIMS WELFARE BOARD

1.Alhaji Anwalu Tukur – Chairman

2.Dr. Ismaila Okundaye – Secretary

3.Alhaji Suleiman Jauro – Member

4.Dr. Ibrahim Afolabi A. – Member

5.Hajiya Maryam Nabiri – Member

6.Garba Sam Clark – Member

The announcement signed for Secretary to the State Government by Tetsola Anino Nelson,

Permanent Secretary (State Protocol matters), said that Oborevwori has also approved the appointments of the following as State Coordinator and Deputy Coordinators on Religious Matters:

1.Rev. Cyril Okonye – State Coordinator

2.Ven. Justin C. Olomu – State Deputy Coordinator (North)

3.Ven. Freeborn A. Onokpite – State Deputy Coordinator (Central)

4.Rev. Godspower Agbuduta – State Deputy Coordinator (South)
