Vice President Shettima bedecked in UNIMAIDs academic gown during the award ceremony
Bashir Maidugu, Deputy State House Counsel (Senior Special Assistant to the President), has hailed the recent recognition of Vice President Kashim Shettima by the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID).
Celebrating the development in a tweet on his official X (Twitter) account, @maidugu, the frontline legal practitioner and PPP (Public Private Partnership) expert described the Doctorate Degree Honoris Causa awarded to the Vice President as well deserved and “a wonderful gesture”.
“CONGRATULATIONS to our Boss, H.E (Dr.) Sen Kashim Shettima, GCON, our Vice President on the recognition by our Alma Mater … the University of Maiduguri with the award of an honorary Doctorate Degree Honoris Causa … today, 18thNovember, 2023,” Maidugu, who like Sen Shettima, is a UNIMAID alumnus, tweeted, sharing photos of the event.
“A wonderful gesture here. Thank you!” the Deputy State House Counsel concluded.
