Nnamdi Kanu, Simon Ekpa
Self-imposed Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government-in-Exile and Biafra agitator, Simon Ekpa, has raised the alarm that the incarcerated leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu may die in the custody of the Department of State Services if something is not done urgently.
Ekpa alleged that Kanu’s doctors have fled the country, hence his call for urgent medical attention to avert his death in the DSS custody.
He made this known in a statement via Twitter on Saturday.
According to Ekpa, the DSS plans to restrict anyone from visiting Kanu in the coming weeks.
He also called on “fellow Biafrans” to stand strong while they offer prayers for the survival of their incarcerated leader.
However, he stressed that they would not forgive Kanu’s siblings if the DSS denies anyone from visiting him in the coming weeks.
The statement reads, “Mazi Nnamdi Kanu doctors flee from Nigeria as the health deteriorate. I call on Biafrans to stand very strong and pray for our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu while we intensify our efforts in the coming weeks. In the coming days, Ejiofor and his DSS will block access to MNK, they have blocked the criminal Ejihako @AloyEjimakorafter the failed fake letter, the next is to block every other person from visiting until he dies. Should this happen, we will never forgive his siblings, who are part of the plan.”
Kanu has been in detention in the facility of Nigeria’s secret police, DSS, since he was arrested in June 2021 in Kenya and extradited to Nigeria to face trial for treasonable felony despite the Court of Appeal freeing the IPOB leader from terrorism and treasonable felony charges last year.
