The National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Russia and Belarus Chapter, Engr. Olabode Jones Ajimijere, has called on President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to take the right path to ensure a quick return of the country to developmental strides.

Engr. Ajimijere, who spoke through the General Secretary of the party in the countries, said Nigeria should rejoice as the days they have been waiting for are here. “The days are here, the hope is here, the lost glory will be recovered, and the greatness we have all craved for is beckoning at us after all the waiting.”

In a statement made available through the General Secretary, Amb Idowu Bashiru Olalekan, Ajimijere who doubles as the APC Chairman of Global Diaspora Leaders, urged Nigerians to see the incoming administration as a plan of God to turn the nation around for good. “I can say it boldly: Tinubu will turn Nigeria around for best. He has all it takes to reform Nigeria; his economic blueprints for Nigeria are solid and capable of returning the country to its past glorious years.

“To have been elected is a wonderful honour and a clear demonstration of the implicit confidence reposed in you as a leader. The office you are being entrusted with is sacred and must not be toyed with. With a deep understanding of your strength, we are sure of the new height our country is ascending to, and we can only wish you the best”.

According to Ajimijere, the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Nigeria’s 16th President comes at a crucial time in our nation’s history, a time when the people are yearning for the best for their motherland, Asiwaju is indeed an answer to our prayers.

“Your attainment of leadership in a free, fair and transparent election is a further demonstration of the fact that our democracy is functioning. The thrust to unify our country as a people is huge but not insurmountable, this is an expectation and we are confident that you won’t deliver less.

“I can confidently say that all of us from the Russian Federation and Belarus believe that the hope is here and assuring Nigerians of the best governance that will transform the country,” the statement concluded.
