Detained IPOB Leader Nnamdi Kanu
Aggressive youths on Sunday night blocked the major road at Akpakanya in Akpabuyo LGA of Cross River State leading to the state capital, Calabar.
Similarly, this morning in Akamkpa, some Ejagham youths suspected to be loyalists of the Biafra Nations League (BnL) stood on the road side with sticks at Mfamussam to cause a slow movement of vehicles. They escaped when the Police was seen approaching.
Meanwhile, Cameroonian Forces have reportedly banned passenger boats from carrying more than three people in Bakassi Peninsula.
BnL had given the Federal Government of Nigeria 14 days ultimatum to release the detained Leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, withdrawal of troops from the South East and Bakassi Peninsula. They also demanded that Cameroon should stop the forceful imposition of tax on Bakassi natives and withdraw their men from the Peninsula or they would shut oil exploration at maritime border.
