The Federal Housing Authority (FHA) has warned the general public to desist from transacting any land business with New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP) Senatorial Candidate for Kogi East in the last general elections, Abdullahi M. (popularly known as Elephant).
In a public notice placed on the newspaper advertorial on Monday, April 3, 2023 by the FHA management released by the FHA through its spokesman, Kenneth Chigelu, the Authority accused the NNPP chieftain of distorting its documents, land allocations, placement of fake beacons on its lands to deceive the unsuspecting general public in the choicest area of Abuja namely Apo/Guzape, Gwarimpa and Lugbe.
The agency described the syndicated activities of the Senatorial candidate as illegal and forgery, thereby placing ‘Caveat Emptor’ on its lands in Abuja and across the country.
He said the syndicate operation led by the NNPP Senatorial candidate, Abdullahi M. (aka Elephant), indulge in allocation of the authority’s land along with issuance of allocation papers and documents purportedly signed by the former Managing Director , Arch Terver Gemade, stating the obvious that he is neither an agent or into partnership with the Federal Housing Authority FHA.
The release maintained that the appended signature of the former MD was forged by Abdullahi M. aka Elephant who headed the syndicate that had been defrauding the public.
The authority stated that all allocations purportedly issued by the syndicate are fake and do not exist in the data bank of the FHA.
FHA restated that all allocations of houses and land should be channeled through the Managing Director and Chief Executive of the Authority, while zonal offices are been handled by the zonal managers .
“The general public is further warned to also desist further transactions from the impostor(s) Senatorial Candidate of NNPP, Abdullahi M. AKA Elephant and his group of syndicates, stating that any defiance to the CAVEAT will be at their own risks.” FHA said.
