Governor Umahi

The special Assistant to Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State on Youth Mobilisation, Hon. Mark Onu, has resigned his appointment and declared his support for Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
Onu, at a press conference in Abakaliki on Friday, March 3, 2023, stated that he has fully rejoined the PDP family.
The former aide, a member of the kitchen cabinet of Governor Umahi, hails from Ohaozara Local government area, the same place with Umahi, told his teeming supporters, especially the youths, to join the PDP because the guber candidate was the best thing that could happen to Ebonyi State.
“We all know AnyiChuks and my conscience cannot forgive me if I cannot join other well-meaning Ebonyians to bring this freshness and good news to Ndi Ebonyi,” he said.
Onu is among other top government officials who had volunteered to join the PDP to deliver Ifeanyi Odii on March 11, 2023 as the new governor of Ebonyi State, effective May 29, 2023.
“We welcome him warmly as we await other patriots in the quest to rescue Ebonyi State. Congratulations to Ebonyi PDP Family,” he said.
