voters register
There were confusion in some of the polling units, in Kubwa, Bwari Area Council, in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), on Saturday, as some of the the voters did find their names on the voters register.
At the PW Primary, located in Usuma ward, many of the voters, who did not see their name in the voters register, were dejected as they await to register their protest with officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC).
One of them, who identified as Moses, told our correspondent that he has always voted on polling unit 003, but that when he got there on Saturday morning, he did not find on the voters list pasted on the wall. Moses added that he also did not get any message from INEC to indicate that he has been moved to another polling centre.
Similarly, at the Model Primary School, another voter told our correspondent that though she found on the voter register pasted at the polling centre, her name was missing in the voter register in possession of the INEC officials.
There were also cases of voters, who were moved to new polling units, but were unable to identify their the locations of the new polling units. (Saturday Sun)
