Governor El-Rufai

Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has expressed concerned over voter apathy in the state, especially among women.
The Governor, while waiting to cast his vote, urged the electorate to come out en-masse to exercise their right by voting candidates of their choice.
El-Rufai who waited for hours on the queue to cast his vote disclosed this at PU 024 ward 7 Unguwar Sarki, Kaduna, where he said that there are reported cases of Biomodel Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) in the state.
While speaking, the Governor however, explained that a BVAS machine was snatched at the Southern part of the state, just as he also said that two other incidents happened within the state.
El-Rufai, who commended electoral umpire for adequate preparations, added that police are investigating the incidents.
He however did not mention the locations of the other incidents.
