The 39-year Pharmacist turned politician wants to take over from his principal with a promise to consolidate the achievements of Governor Bello. He said he is the most qualified to continue after Bello, having been part of the “New Direction Government” since 2016 as director of protocol and later the Chief of Staff to the governor in January, 2020 till date.
Asuku pointed out that the state has been enjoying security since Gov. Bello’s administration, attributing it to his doggedness and adequate attention to the state security architecture. The governorship aspirant added that Bello has worked to unite the people of the state within the period of his administration by putting an end to the tribal difference that was in existence before his emergence.
