Brave boy Yusuf Alimi standing in front of Peter Obis convoy Saturday
The story of the teenage boy who made headline news by standing in front of the moving convoy of Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, has changed for the good. The boy, Yusuf Alimi, who is from Oyo State but based in Lagos, took everyone by surprise as Obi was moving from Alaba International Market to Tafawa Balewa Square for his grand rally on Saturday, February 11, 2023.
When he was interviewed, Alimi disclosed that he stood in front of the convoy because of his love for Obi. He added that if the presidential candidate wins the election, he would pray for him to do well.
Viral photos that emerged two days after the rally showed Obi posing with Alimi during a meeting later arranged between both of them.
The teenager’s bravery has endeared him to many, as they praised him for his unusual courage and public display of love for Obi, who is popular among Nigerian youths.
Businessman, Ifeanyi Onukwibiri’s was the first to offer Alimi money. Taking to his social media page, he revealed that he wants to gift the young lad N100,000.
“This is the photo of the week. How can I get to this boy? I want to gift him 100k. It’s youth o’clock!!! I see Hope for common persons coming back again!” the businessman wrote.
Socialite Cubana Chief Priest, real name Pascal Okechukwu, soon intervened, vowing to change Yusuf Alimi’sstory by making him a millionaire.
According to Cubana Chief Priest, who is known for making similar interventions in the past and changing the lives of youths who impress him, “Me too I go like send am better thing. “His life got to change.
“Find him he must be made a millionaire. #LagosObidatti2023. History will never forget. Me & my guys dey find the boy dude na national treasury”.
