The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ebonyi State, has kicked-off state campaign rallies ahead of the February 25 and March 11, 2023, general elections.

Kicking off the campaign at Ezza South Local Government Area of the state, the Governorship candidate of the party, Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii, promised to enthrone a People-oriented administration if voted to power in the state.

He assured the people of Ezza South that his government would bring total transformation in the land and Ebonyi state as a whole, stating that the issue of Ebonyians hawking across the states of the federation would be a thing of the past.

According to him, “Before now, l have built houses, schools, churches, and hospitals for people across the 13 local government areas of the state. I have provided capital to people to start businesses without minding where the person comes from.”

Speaking at the event, the state Director-General of the campaign organization, Mr. Austin lgwe Edeze, stated that PDP has regrouped to reclaim Ebonyi State from the hands of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Contributing also, the first civilian governor of the state and current senator representing Ebonyi North Senatorial zone, Dr. Sam Egwu, said the February and March elections mark the end and existence of the APC government in the state.
