Group Head, Business Development / Sustainability Affairs of News Express Nigeria, Nelson Obine has been awarded honourary Doctoral certificate in Strategic Leadership, by the Corporate Institute of Strategic Research (CISR), Nigeria.

Obine, who is also the convener of the foremost Conference of Nigeria Trade Associations was conferred along with other eminent personalities on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at NECA House, Ikeja, Lagos.

Dr. Obine was said to have satisfied the requirement for admission to the membership and recognition of competence on leadership strategies, research and outstanding performance by the governing council of the Institute, and also elected as a fellow of the Corporate Strategic Institute (fcsi).

Speaking at the award presentation, the President of the Institute, Dr. Princewill Inyang, said CISR strategist and analyst certification programmes are tailored to bring in the difference in the societal values, beginning with change, output and productivity from the corporate world to the financial sector and to social wellbeing of the organization, individual and the community, through multi-level research strategy. He further enjoined awardees to be good ambassadors of the Institute in their respective fields of research and professionalism.
