APC and PDP logp
Supporters of All Progressives Congress (APC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) were on Wednesday engaged in a clash at the Oworonshoki area of Lagos State.
The fight which started at about 2:30 pm involves heavy gunshots causing residents and students who just closed from their schools to scamper for safety.
According to Hassan, an eyewitness who was caught in the crossfire said some APC supporters attacked PDP members who were holding their party’s campaign in the area.
“What I witnessed today was quite frightening. I was coming from the school with my children when, suddenly, some young men emerged with guns, cutlasses, and sticks, and started to shoot sporadically while others were running after whoever was in sight,” he added.(Daily Independent)
