APGA crisis: First Lady’s denial of support for Victor Umeh’s faction not tenable

I watched the 9 pm NTA network news yesterday (Friday, May 17), where the Presidential Villa was denying having anything to do with the APGA crisis.

News Express on May 15 reported the meeting of the First Lady, HE Patience Goodluck, with Victor Umeh, Ifeanyi Ubah, among others and how she called the President of Appeal Court, Zainab Bulkachuwa, and put the phone on speaker to display to the visitors on how she is helping Victor Umeh faction, which is a way to destablize APGA.

The denial is not tenable, because everyday Victor Umeh sings it as a song to whosoever wants to hear.
At the Nnewi Club yesterday (Friday), Chief Dan Ulasi boasted that he was part of the meeting and concurred that the First Lady is solidly behind them.

The man, garrulous as ever, said the discussion zeroed in on who becomes the next Governor of Anambra State and how Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah and Andy Ubah were mentioned.

He narrated how the first Lady agreed on the two and how Victor Umeh mentioned the name of Dr. Chris Ngige for being popular, and how the First Lady rejected Ngige because of APC factor.

Remember that Rochas Okorocha has continued to talk about APC which APGA was part of its formation taking over Nigeria and the South-East – how himself and Victor Umeh will lead Anambra assault with Ngige as APC candidate against APGA-PDP of Peter Obi.
