The Chairman, Media and Publicity, Atiku/Mutfwang Campaign Council, Plateau State and former Commissioner of Information and Communication, Hon. Yiljap Abraham has said the All Progressives Congress (APC) should not contest the 2023 election but should be apologizing to Nigerians for inflicting pain and agony on innocent citizens.
He noted that this was the first time that Nigerians were going through excruciating pains in the history of Nigerian due to the inept leadership style of the APC-led government at the centre.
Hon. Yiljap made the observation yesterday during the inauguration of the state executives, local government, wards and polling unit coordinators of the Middle Belt Frontiers for Atiku/Mutfwang, held at Yelwa Club, Bukuru, Jos, Plateau State.
He said that the APC has no moral standing to contest any election in Nigeria now and in the future.
“We cannot thank APC for the huge debt they have put Nigeria into, they have no moral justification to contest any election in Nigeria, they should be apologizing to Nigerians for the pains, hardship and mismanagement of our relationship,” he stated.
He noted that what Nigerians need today is Atiku Abubakar and Caleb Mutfwang in Plateau for the rebuilding and securing of Plateau and Nigerians.
He noted that the Middle Belt region has played a critical role in the survival of Nigeria and the unity of the country following the sacrificial role, which its forefathers played.
Plateau State Coordinator, Middle Belt Frontiers for Atiku/Mutfwang Abel Jilemsam said the group would be in the forefront for the campaign to return PDP back to power.
He lamented that the region has suffered huge loss as a result of the prevailing security challenges that has perished several lives. (Sunday Sun: Text, excluding headline)
