Veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo O Kanayo – better known as KOK – has cursed those behind the fake news of his death, telling them: “You will not live past the next seven days. You’ve got the wrong guy.”

A livid KOK said in an Instagram video that before people start rumours about famous people, they should think about the impact on their families.

“Do most people think that Nollywood actors or entertainers or popular people don’t have families? What kind of life do they think we live? Somebody wakes up, compiles three, four, five pictures, and puts RIP,” he said.

“My life has never been in anybody’s hand. I want to thank all friends who have called since morning. I don’t even have fever,” he continued.

KOK concluded the video by thanking his fans for their kindness.

For those who don’t know, KOK has featured in hundreds of movies in his over 30 years in the industry.
