ADF President, Prof Uzodimma Nwala
By CHARLES IWUOHA
The Alaigbo Development Foundation (ADF) has condemned the on-going imposition of COVID-19 vaccination on Igbo youths especially students writing examination or seeking employment into Federal establishments.
Addressing a world press conference in Enugu, the ADF President, Professor Uzodimma Nwala, said it is wrong to force Igbo youths to take the vaccination when youths in Northern States have been insulted from it.
regret, the on-going imposition of COVID vaccination/injection on Igbo youths, especially students writing examinations or seeking employment into Federal establishments.
“Whereas, it has come to our notice that the youths of the Northern states have been insulated from these vaccinations.
“In fact, a particular Traditional Ruler in the North was reported to have charged the Youths to deal ruthlessly with anyone who tries to vaccinate them.”
Professor Nwlaa said it is common knowledge that some European countries have rejected the vaccines and “we wonder why the Igbo youths or any youth in Nigeria should become instruments of genocidal experimentation.”
He announced that the ADF Council meeting in a recent meeting held on Friday, February 25, 2022 approved the integration of a pan-Igbo organisation, Anyi-Anyi, into the ADF.
Consequently, he said the Council approved the appointment of Barrister Anthony Okolo as the new Vice President of ADF, while Mr. Abia Onyike was appointed Acting Secretary of ADF.
