BUHARI NOT DEAD —Spokesman

Former Nigerian Head of State, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.), is NOT DEAD contrary to the rumours making the rounds about his welfare.

Dismissing the rumours, Buhari’s spokesman, Mr. Yinka Odunmakin, told News Express minutes ago: “Absolute falsehood!”

Another source close to Buhari also told News Express that the beloved General was in good health and in Lagos, where he went after visiting Ogun State, South-West Nigeria, to condolethe Matriarch ofthe Awolowo family, Mrs. HID Awolowo, in Ikenne over the death of her son, Chief Oluwole Awolowo.

“I understand that he is granting an interview to the editor of The Guardian newspaper right now at Sheraton Hotel,” the source said.

News Express had frantically reached out to Odunmakin and sources in Buhari’s Kaduna base and neighbouring Kano upon enquiries from anxious readers who wanted correct information on the fate of the National Leader of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) and three-time presidential candidate.
