FCT UBEB Acting ChairmanDirector, Dr Alhassan Sule

The Federal Capital Territory Universal Basic Education Board (FCT UBEB) is to introduce a Reality TV Education programme January 2021 to encourage educational participation and competition of children resident in the FCT.
The Acting Chairman and Director, Universal Basic Educational Board, Dr Alhassan Sule, dropped this message on Wednesday during the FCT UBEB Award Day held at Local Education Authority (LEA), AMAC office in Abuja.
He said the new platform is going to be introduced among many others after navigating through the world global health emergency period of COVID-19 in its first, second and third wave.
Dr Sule stated that live interaction on the television wouldl expose people to the intricacies of learning and acquisition of indepth knowledge towards integrating our Educational curriculum into a modest platform.
He called on stakeholders in the education sector to accord more priority to education as it was the only modern way to liberate pupils from all forms of social stratification and problems.
He also commended the FCT administration and federal government for prioritising Education, not only in FCT but Nigeria at large.
