Prof Mohammed Badaru Jibrin

Dr Mohammed Badaru Jibrin, a former Provost of Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa, has been promoted to the rank of Professor by Kogi State University, Anyigba.
Jibrin was promoted along with others to the new rank on December 17, with effect from Ist December, 2019, a decision of the Governing Council of the Institution.
The former Provost, Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa, joined the services of the university in 2002 and rose through the cadre as Assistant Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and later bagged his PhD.
A Doctor of English and Literary Studies, the new Professor graduated from Bayero University Kano in 1997and also bagged his MSC in the same field from the Institution.
A renowned academic and devout Muslim, he was appointed Provost, Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa, in 2017, having held several positions in Kogi state University, Anyigba, for more than one decade.
The new Professor of English hails from Ajobe in Ankpa local government area of Kogi State.
