The Movement for the Survival of the Ijaw Ethnic Nationality in Niger Delta (MOSIEND) on Thursday commiserated with the family of Sylvester Oromoni Jnr who recently died after an alleged vicious attack by bullies at the elitist private school he attended in Lagos, Dowen College.

MOSIEND’s position was containedin a statement by its National Secretary, Amb. Amain Winston, condemning the dastardly act.

“MOSIEND totally condemn in strong term such act and the management of the school will take adequate measure to prevent a repeat of such incident, and the Lagos State Government should also put necessary and drastic measures in place to avert recurrence of this kind,” MOSIEND said.

It urged students to face their studies, be ambassadors of peace and agents of development and not agents of killing and destruction.

MOSIEND further called on the police and other relevant security agencies to ensure that the culprits are apprehended through careful and speedy investigation and all brought to book.

MOSIEND commended the Lagos State Government in ensuring that the school is closed down indefinitely.

MOSIEND, according to the statement will collaborate with the family of the late Master Sylvester Oromoni Jnr and all those who think well for a better society in ensuring that justice prevails on this matter.
