A lone accident Thursday evening has left one male passenger dead and two others with varying degrees of injury in the commercial city of Onitsha, Anambra State.
The crash, which was caused by over speeding leading to loss of control, involved a Toyota Carina with three occupants.
The Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Andrew Kumapayi, confirmed the incident, disclosing that the body of the deceased has been deposited in the mortuary.
“Unidentified driver of a Toyota Carina with registration number FD310ABC had a lone fatal crash today 25th March, 2021 by Toll Gate Nteje Onitsha road at about 1700 hrs,” Kumapayi said.
He warned motorists to desist from over speeding, but drive with care to avoid unnecessary crashes.
